Hi there,
I'll be travelling to Las Vegas in about 3 wks. I don't currently hold a license or state ID. I've been using my passport around town for ID, and I am trying to get a state ID, but it takes 2-3 wks. and I'm afraid it won't arrive before my trip. I'm not a drinker, but I do plan to spend some time in nightclubs and in the casinos.
I'm 35 yrs old, so I'm not super young, but I know from experience that some places are very strict about carding people and don't want to take chances.
There is one bar in particular where we will probably be going - El Premiere. One of my favorite bands is playing there when we are in town. To miss it would be a big disappointment. Anybody know if this club will bother with carding someone in their 30s? I'd say I probably look under 35, but not by much (maybe 30 or late 20s). I've tried contacting them via email, but haven't gotten a response yet.
I did notice that the city of Las Vegas will accept a passport for proof of age for marriage, so that's a good sign, I suppose. I just don't want to travel, only to find I can't get into the bars for the first time in 16 yrs!!!
Thanks in advance.
